Registered Breeders normally only have litters if they are looking to keep one themselves, or have show homes for the puppies. Those waiting only for a B/T pet or a particular sex may choose to consider the following: that a bitch may not take on mating, all or some of the litter may not survive, that they may throw all reds, or even all one sex. No one can predict sex nor colour. After waiting all this time, the puppies still cannot be truly assessed until 6 weeks (remember show homes get first pick), stressful not only for the potential owner but the breeder also. I bond with people during this time, they are in constant contact whilst waiting to find out which is their baby GP. I know what they want but in real life, they may have to look at a different colour or gender. Those who have done so with our litters are totally in love with their new puppies. Some now have their 2nd Ravenred German Pinscher.
There are only a few actively breeding in Australia so it may be a long wait. I waited through 2 unsuccessful matings for Taylor and that was to a SHOW home, you may also have to be patient whilst waiting for your perfect puppy. If this is the breed for you, it really is well worth the wait.
Please do not e-mail me and only say 'do you have any puppies and how much are they'? Do your research, decide if this is the breed for you and by all means ring me - I love nothing more than to talk about my dogs. If you do list with several breeders, please let them know that you have done this. Once you have decided which breeder you are getting your puppy from, please let all know, so that you can be removed from any other waiting lists. This helps us and prevents any misunderstandings between breeders and purchasers.
Please do not ask me to discuss other breeders or their dogs, you are asked to talk to those breeders themselves and form your own opinions.
A puppy application form is completed for any enquiries. All puppies are sold on contract to protect them and the parties concerned.
